The Cat Trap was designed to provide quick access to your C-A-T Tourniquet. It's lightweight, has adjustable tension, and is secured to your PALS Webbing without the use of any of the traditional attachment methods. The shock cord used to adjust the tension weaves through the PALS Webbing and secures the holder to your equipment. This saves on weight and cost. The shock cord and ITW Cordloc can also be easily replaced in the field if needed. Something that can't be done with holders using traditional elastic. The inside of the holder is lined with a non-slip material, which provides extra friction to help hold the tourniquet in place.
An optional adapter (Sold Separately) is also available allowing the user to mount the holder in a horizontal position. Made of Hypalon, the horizontal adapter weaves through the PALS Webbing and is secured with the shock cord from the Cat Trap holder. Once again eliminating the need for any of the traditional molle attachment methods.

When I first got the thing, I was thinking, "wow...that's it?" But, after using and abusing it, my TQ stays in place and this little thing proves both durable, lightweight, and functional. Just recommended one to a friend, and I will be getting another in Ranger green!

Over the years of Army/LEO service, I've used all kinds of methods to attach a TK to my kit. This little contraption works the best. You can mount your TK just about anywhere on your kit or to just about anything. I currently run one on in conjunction with an MSM shear pouch on a Taco mounted to my 1st line. I then have another on my rig that can stand alone or attach to my PC.

Excellent product at an excellent price. I have one of these mounted onto a Taco on my rig, and another mounted onto a MSM shear pouch on my belt. I've gone through quite a few TK holders and this is hands down my favorite.
